From Evie in Ugandaby Evelyn Komuntale on June 10, 2011
I am in Uganda. Lots happening.
Mama almost went to glory, have been in and out of hospitals, but now much better.
Preaching as usual here and there. Tree of Life Church rocks - thats our church at the school. You must come. You are so loved and remembered here/
School now has almost 200 children. What a blessing.
I am becoming a farmer!!!!! we started a school farm - so much fun to grow own crops and see them grow. we need cows, goats and pigs!!! You should see me with the farmers here.
God is so wonderful. Sometimes I sit and think about all what He has done with almost nothing in my hands, I give Him the glory. Thank you so much for being part of this work here.
As usual I operate on almost zero budget but He meets every needs - just on time.
see some of our kids in the attached photo. looks great.
I will be here until end of September, God willing.
After a long time of not doing any pastors' seminars, a team is coming from Canada this month for 2 days in Fort Portal, 1 day in Rwebisengo, a morning at Tree of Life Church and an afternoon women's seminar. when pastors received the invitation they all thought it was you coming. Ric you are love. We must plan your return here. God used you to start a lot of things in OTA.
Please thank the Beacon for supporting OTA.
Greatest need now is feeding and caring for these children. 60 are in boarding and most likely we will get more. I am looking for sponsors big time. $35 a month. This time, it will be so easy to have the children communicate with the sponsors, send photos and updates because they are all in one place. If you hear of anyone wanting to sponsor a child, email and I will send back information.
Love to the family
